Bursary and Apprenticeship Award

We’re delighted to assist students as they move on to higher or 3rd level education and apprenticeships.

We will be giving away 2 x €2,000 bursaries (€1,000 per year) to students in our common bond to help fund their education and 1 x €1,000 (€500 per year) to help a student with their apprenticeship.

Who is eligible to apply?

  • Any member who is commencing or has already commenced their course or apprenticeships.
  • Applications are welcome from members of all ages

How to enter?

  • Simply fill out the application form.
  • Alternatively you can pick up a copy in any of our branches, fill it our and return it to either branch

I am thrilled to have completed my second year of the 3-year OEM Engineering Apprenticeship at Monaghan Institute.

The Level 6 course focuses on engineering skills for designing, manufacturing, and maintaining original equipment like machinery and automated systems.

I've been really enjoying the practical, hands-on side — tackling real challenges, working directly on equipment, and seeing the impact of what we build every day!
